While I'm at it, here are a few pics of my pets, which currently include 3 dogs, 4 parrots, and a ball python.

The best picture I have ever taken, or ever will take!!!!!!!

Yakkity-Yak!!!

Surprising what one finds in his own back yard.  Well, maybe not my actual back yard,
but just across town, is this yak farm.

Yaks????

Night Sky

These photos were taken with various long exposures, some under a full moon.

Stone Church - Dover Plains, NY 2011-01-29

The following photos were taken at Stone Church in Dover, NY on Jan. 29, 2011.  It's a natural cave with
some beautiful surroundings.

This is taken from inside the cave, looking out.

Although there is nothing in this picture to show the scale,
the icecicle is about 8 ft. tall and about 1.5 feet in diameter!!!

For contrast, here are some pics of the same place taken on Sept. 11, 2010.

Bull's Bridge - Kent, Ct.

Don't know the name of this damn.

View from inside the covered bridge.

Inside the covered bridge.

How High the Moon!

I almost lost my fingers taking this shot, as it was about 4 degrees outside!

Mid-October

The following photos are a few more tries at HDR.  Some spot removal
was performed as well.

The first two shots below were taken from the pier at
Rye Playland in Rye, NY (my home town).

These three were taken at a friend's house in Pawling NY

Walkway Over the Hudson

The following photos are the results of my early attempts at HDR.  All but one were taken from the Walkay Over the Hudson.  This is an old railroad bridge that was recently converted to a walkway.  It's about 1.7 miles long, and connects Poughkeepsie NY to Highland NY.  It has some spectacular views, especially when the autumn leaves are at their peak.

The one shot of the stone house was taken from the South ( I think) end of Lake Minnewaska.  Lake M. is located in Ulster Cty, NY.  It's part of the Shawangunk Mountains (the "Gunks", which features some of the most popular rock climbing on the East Coast).

When I got home to review the shots, I noticed tht my sensor has lots of schmutz on it,
so I used LightRoom to do some extensive spot removal.
Other than that (and the HD processing), no other alterations were made.

Hope you like!  Let me know if you do.
